Spring 2011 Candidate Surveys
Arts for LA is pleased to release the results of its survey of all candidates for Los Angeles City Council, Pasadena City Council, Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) School Board, Pasadena Unified School District School Board and Burbank Unified School District School Board.
The survey provides an opportunity for candidates to articulate their awareness and support of arts & culture and arts education. All candidates were invited to participate in the survey. Click below to read the responses.
The Los Angeles & Pasadena elections involving these candidates will take place on March 8, 2011. Please visit lavote.net/voter/voter_registration.cfm to register to vote; you must register by February 22, 2011 to vote in the March election. The Burbank USD election will take place on February 22, 2011; you must register to vote by February 7, 2011.

We encourage local residents to attend candidate forums and show their support for the arts in schools and civic life by posing a question about arts & culture. Choose one of the questions from our survey or ask your own. Arts for LA encourages advocates to take the opportunity to engage those running for office in the upcoming election.
